[There's a package left outside of Rosalind's apartment on the night of Christmas. It's wrapped in brown paper and tied up with string. There are two books within. One is a textbook-style tome that details the modern understanding of mechanical engineering. The second is a book that examines the contributions of women in science through the ages.

There is also a note, penned in Jonathan's neat cursive.]

I must offer my humblest apologies for my extraordinary behavior on Patara. I was not myself, but that is not and never is an excuse. I will do my utmost best to avoid any other strange effects induced by this place. I still consider you a friend and valued colleague. I hope you enjoy these books. I found them both fascinating while leafing through.
