she was the last person standing on a mission i went on--a vampire had taken out an entire town and all attempts at stopping the situation were met with the deaths of human operatives

despite all her comrades falling around her she still stood her ground against the vampire

i had to shoot through her to get to him because he was holding her hostage and my weaponry is not something a human can walk away from

but she had such a will to live that she took my hand and my curse to keep going, to keep living

she's strong, and clever, and i'm lucky to have her in my life

she's been my partner since i turned her, in a work sense

i definitely see her as my daughter rather than anything else

I'm eager to get to know her better. I admit, the side you describe is a side of her I haven't yet seen-- but we've had only one conversation, and I think that was a mutually interesting and exciting prospect. Neither of us have ever met a newborn before.
