memories
Riding in a rowboat, bickering incessantly with the person rowing, as they head towards a lighthouse.
Standing with her gentleman, offering a young girl a choice in necklace pendants, and losing as the girl chose her companion's and not hers. She also remembers the conversation with her gentleman afterwards, and how irritated she was at losing.
The fact that her gentleman got frequent nosebleeds as a result of hemorrhaging, and that they were life threatening.
That she was heavily researching the theory of parallel universe, and in some way had a confirmation that the theory was proven.
That because she annoyed the wrong person, something awful happened to her, and her work was stolen.
That she lived in a city called Columbia, and that it had once been a part of the United States.
That she and her gentleman appeared, post death, as ghosts to someone (though what they said and who they appeared to are still mysteries).
The most delightful conversation with a Lady.
Being shot at multiple times point blank, and somehow not being hit.
That random tears, doorways into other worlds, would open around Columbia.
Handymen, a creation/invention that debuted in Columbia, and that they were made from taking disabled, sickly, or severely injured citizens and semi-mutilating them; that there are a lot of hideous side-effects and ethical issues involved.
That when her gentleman came through the universes, he nearly died, and it took all her medical expertise to save him.
Songbird, Songbird, see him fly~
That Columbia was a flying city
