Noctis stares in silence a bit longer. He realizes he lost his bet already, time caught up on him. So he sighs, throwing back his second drink as he stands up. ]
Alright, let’s get this over with.
[ Before he fusses more. ]
You’re lucky I’m a lightweight.

[She's a little tipsy, but not so hideously drunk she'll end up shaving him. So that's good. Rosalind's step is just a little unsteady as she leads the way towards her bathroom. Dragging in a chair, she sets up a few towels around him.]
Go get your hair wet.
[in the shower, maybe? Just take off your shirt, Noct, it's only your mum.]

Noctis takes his shirt off and sets it aside in the bathroom. He lets his hair down and quickly wets it in the sink, reaching for a towel to damp it and drape it at his shoulders. ]
Not exactly into anything new so...
[ Dont go wild. ]

[She has a pair of scissors, luckily, built for cutting hair. They're nothing professional, no, but at least she's not using something from her lab. It takes her a few minutes to find a comb, but soon enough she's settling behind him.
Despite her full intent on tormenting him, she doesn't want to do a bad job, and so there's care in the way she combs and parts his hair carefully.]
Just don't move, all right?

I’m not, I’m not.
[ It’s a good thing he’s feeling comfortably toasted off the scotch, otherwise he would have gone to a professional. Or continue to ignore the growing length. He grimaces a little. ]
Don’t make it too short.

[And to her credit, it's not as if she buzzes it all off. But he'll likely think it's too short, because she cuts it sensibly, trimming his bangs and sweeping back all that hair that crowds around his face. The end result is something quite nice, honestly, and Rosalind is pleased, even if he'll sulk and whine.
But ah, that's for later. For now, Rosalind is still cutting, humming softly as she does.]
