Hey, so I just rewatched Kandam 99 and it's honestly kind of amazing how accurate the season two trailer was, like it looked like it was a gag but it really wasn't. Everything was right, even down to the ratings and I think that's pretty amazing.

True, but I think season two was pretty solid. The movie was debatable but the way that they incorporated the minor side characters from the first season to the second was pretty well done. My heart really felt for Lucy and Kanji.

[And so, as per their conversation earlier in the day, Aizawa arrives at Rosalind's newest place of residence late in the afternoon as promised, bundled in a black coat and a heavy striped scarf and...an air of increasing dubiousness, as he slowly approaches the front porch.

There's no mistaking the place, to be sure--there's "Lutece Labs", just as she'd said, plain on the house's front. Things that are also very plain and difficult to miss: the red and white sign reading "DANGER! Risk of Death or Serious Injury" posted directly over the double front doors. And that's not even mentioning how sharply the overall design of the house contrasts its neighbors, and the area architecture in general...Aizawa had thought he'd just missed it on previous visits to Veia Village, but now he's starting to wonder how he could have possibly not noticed a place like this before. Surely it hasn't...always been here? But if that's the case, then how--well. This is something to ask the master of the house herself at some point, clearly.

The sign is even larger and more ominous when you're at the front door, and Aizawa eyes it for a half minute longer than probably entirely necessary before finally transferring his attention to the entrance proper. After spending another couple of moments trying to find the doorbell and failing, he settles for three firm knocks, half-wondering how the interior of this house could possibly top the exterior...]

Nice Christmas decorating. Where did you find the sign? [His first extremely dry comment, once the door's opened.]

[She says that first and foremost, like a polite person, before opening the door to let him in. The interior matches the exterior in terms of taste, at least, although, given there's no glowing experimental tubes or thick pipes running over the carpet, this is more normal and less hideously worrying.]

[Ah, the inside is certainly a great deal less Concerning than the outside already, which is a moderately more promising start--Aizawa makes no effort to hide his sweeping and curious glance about the first room beyond the door as he steps inside accordingly.]

[ tis was the second night before christmas and when rosalind comes home, she'll see that souji has made yet another surprise visit. it's noticeable that he was here because he has come to restock kawaii-san's food and left him a new toy but also because there is a beautiful sweater that has been left on the counter. it's spread out and open and it's glorious ]

[ also if rosalind looks in the pantry before texting souji, she'll find a nicely wrapped present. spoilers: it contains boxes of her favourite teas and this cup ]
