[ Figures. It's not like either of them have much time on their hands. Noctis merely acknowledges the answer with his attention. But Rosalind gets right down to business. He remembers her being very forward, but that was in respects to conversations she had with his father that he was too young to understand. Noctis is far more knowledgeable now, but the question still takes him by slight surprise.

This is actually the first time he's been slapped with a business question. At least without the company of others. Noctis sits up, lowering his hand from his cheek. ]

Oh.

[ Wow. Okay. Uh... Start from the top. ]

Depends on what you're looking for. I'm sure I can make a few calls.

Cell phone and laptop security, primarily. I've let both lapse, and . . . lately, I've vital need to keep both as secure as possible. I'm aware I can't keep the Retrospec app out, but I can at least keep everyone else at bay.

Easy enough.

I can probably take care of getting the actual software shipped out here. Wouldn't take much to encrypt your data to beef up protection.

[ Noctis shrugs. ]

Yeah, I can't do anything about Retrospec. I've tried.

How soon do you need it? I'll have to get a contract going.

As soon as possible.

[There's no point in discussing a price. It will be expensive, and she'll be able to afford it; really, money is the least of her worries. Rosalind drums her fingers against her desk, then adds:]

[ Noctis nods. ]

Fine by me. I'll make a phone call as soon as I get out of here. I'll keep you updated on the ETA.

[A little pause, and then, with a slight smile:]

How many times do you imagine Prompto is going to ask me for an embarrassing childhood story of you?

[ He smiles to the gratitude. That wasn't too hard. Even if Rosalind is a long-time customer and affiliate, Noctis has never really had to talk business with anyone before. This might actually ease his dad's stressing for a change.

At the question about Prompto, he sighs and pinches the bridge of his nose. ]

I keep telling him there's nothing good. It's not like I got out much.

[ He shakes his head. ]

He thinks he's slick. I don't know.

He's enthusiastic.

[Not slick, but at least endearing.]

You could always make something up that I can tell him. That time you saved an employee's life, say, and of course I'd simply have to back you up.

[ Yeah, its... Extremely endearing actually. Noctis doesn't recall his and Prompto's friendship prior to his falling ill but he's been extremely doting. Kind. He doesn't hate the company, even if he doesn't know how to deal with it. ]

Tell him I was born with a tail.

[ Hit low. Wind up reaching high. Noctis is 100% serious because it will either freak Prompto out or he'll be too scared to bring it up. ]

I think I can manage that.

[She's absolutely going to tell him that.]

A far better question: do you still have it?

[ He smiles, its lopsided and more like a smirk. ]

Sure. Why not?

[ Oh, oh this will work out hilariously. ]

You're not allowed to blame me if this ends in him asking you to take off your trousers, mind.

[ Noctis crosses his legs, like the most professional person he can be. Clearly, there's a plan here because Prompto makes it pretty easy to prank him. With the straightening of his posture, he shrugs his shoulder. ]

Oh that's the plan, Doctor.
